University Development Strategy (2017-2020 рр.)
The strategic goal of the University is trained highly qualified specialists to meet the needs of the national economy, the labor market and harmoniously developed individuals, aimed at making their own contribution to the development of the Ukrainian economy, statehood, civil society, through the development of creative and leadership skills, critical thinking, formation of professional skills.
The aim of the strategy is ensuring the sustainable growth of DonNUET’s competitiveness, increasing the level of integration into the European Higher Education Area and the European Research Area.
Purposes:
- formation of an educational research center, where DonNUET must have the central role
- entering the top 50 universities in Ukraine
- creating of e-University
- ensuring the professional growth and self-development of the University staff
- forming a corporate culture of leadership
The aims and purposes must be achieved on the basis of:
- internationalization of education and research processes
- improvement of the University management system
- constant improvement of the quality of educational activity
- development of human resources (employees, applicants for higher education)
- organization of all spheres of activity of the University on the basis of using modern ICT
- development of educational, scientific, cultural, sports infrastructures and public activity
- financial independence
PROGRAM 1 ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES
The main tasks:
- formation and active activity of the Supervisory Board development and certification of the quality management system
- formation of a research quality center of education
- implementation of the project management mechanism to ensure the transparency of the University’s activities introduction of electronic document flow
PROGRAM 2 FORMATION AND SUPPORT OF THE UNIVERSITY BRAND
The main tasks:
- sustentation of the University image as a national leader with a hundred years of history, rich experience in educational, scientific and innovative activities, strong scientific, intellectual and human potential
- formation of the University’s image at the international level
PROGRAM 3 EXTENSION OF PRESENCE IN THE EDUCATION MARKET
The main tasks:
- increment of the number of students
- licensing of a new educational programs
PROGRAM 4 IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The main tasks:
- increment of the quality of educational and methodological support of educational activities
- exploitation of the capabilities of the Moodle interactive platform to intensify the student self-employment
PROGRAM 5 INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION AND SCIENCE PROCCESESS
The main tasks:
- development of international academic mobility
- academic and scientific cooperation with foreign educational, research, industrial and other institutions
- increasing the number of foreign students
PROGRAM 6 SCIENTIFIC AND INNOVATIVE ACTIVITIES
The main tasks:
- development of fundamental and applied scientific research
- approbation of scientific researches carried out at the University
- creation of scientific and innovative space
PROGRAM 7 SELF-REALIZATION AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH
The main tasks:
- formation of the system of qualitative personnel support of educational, scientific and administrative-managerial activity
- ensuring self-realization, individual trajectory of development, professional growth of the University staff
PROGRAM 8 INFORMATION DEVELOPMENT
The main tasks:
- development of University web resources and improvement of content
- creation of a unified electronic educational and scientific environment of the University
PROGRAM 9 MODERN INFRASTRUCTURE
The main tasks:
- implementation of technological conditions for educational activities
- improvement of material and technical conditions of functioning of the University
- creation of conditions for development of student scientific, cultural, sports, public activity
- development of electronic educational infrastructure
- implementation of ICT in the activities of the University
- development of the University Library Fund
PROGRAM 10 FINANCIAL OPTIMIZATION
The main tasks:
- increase of efficiency of financial and economic activity of the University
- diversification of sources of financing for the development of funds use transparency
