Department of Foreign Philology, Ukrainian Studies and Social and Law Disciplines is a structural subdivision of the DonNUET Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics, Management and Administration.
The Department of Foreign Philology, Ukrainian Studies and Social and Law Disciplines provides training, retraining and advanced training of specialists in different levels of high education (Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and PhD’s degree) and teaching disciplines related to foreign and Ukrainian languages, as well as humanities, general science and legal disciplines for all specialties of the University.
The Department of Foreign Philology, Ukrainian Studies and Social and Law Disciplines is an administering department in the specialty 035 “Philology” (specialization 035.041 German Languages and Literatures (including translation), the first one is English)

The Department of Foreign Languages was founded in 1959 and was renamed as The Department of Foreign Philology and Translation in 2017, in 2019 it was reorganized into the Department of Foreign Philology, Ukrainian Studies and Social and Law Disciplines.
