The University Code of Ethics and Dignity

The Code was adopted taking into account moral and ethical principles, as models of University’s staff behavior and seekers of higher education, on the basis of world experience in achieving a balance of relationships that promote learning process, mastering knowledge, preventing corruption, creating an atmosphere of partnership.

The Code text was formed on the basis of proposals from the University community, student self-government bodies and the primary trade union organization. It was approved by the Academic Council of Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky on 27 June 2017.

The University Code of Ethics and Dignity sets out the general moral principles and rules of ethical and decent behavior of persons working and studying at the University.

They should follow these principles in their activities. Members of the university community are required to know the University Code of Ethics and Dignity.

The acceptance of the principles and norms of the University Code of Ethics and Dignity is certified by the signature of the university’s community member.

The first year students enrolled at the University sign their agreement with the University Code of Ethics and Dignity.
