Educational and Methodological Board is a representative, permanent collegial body of DonNUET, which provides coordination, control and analysis of educational-methodical and organizational-methodical activities of educational and scientific institutes, departments and other structural subdivisions of the University.

The main tasks and functions of Educational and Methodological Board:
- creation of development strategic directions of educational and methodical activity of the University and improvement of the study content
- organization of educational technologies examination and educational literature, didactic tools and software products, analysis of scientific and methodological support of the educational process
- improvement of the organizational and methodological support of the educational process
- introduction of educational innovations, quality management systems of higher education based on international standards
- coordination of educational activities
- introduction of foreign language educational programs into the educational process
- introduction of distant learning technologies
