Legal Department is a structural unit of DonNUET, orginized to provide legal support for the University activities, organization of contractual work, advising on legal issues, conducting claims and lawsuits.

The main tasks of the Legal Department are:

  • ensuring correct application of normative and legal acts and other documents at the University, presentation to the head a proposal on the solution of legal issues related to the activities of the University
  • carrying out legal expertise of draft acts and other documents prepared by the structural subdivisions of the University, agreeing (sighting) them. In case of discrepancy of the draft of the act or other document with the requirements of the legislation, the motivated proposals on bringing the documents in line with the legislation to the interested structural subdivision
  • organization of work related to the conclusion of contracts (contracts), participation in their preparation and implementation monitoring, the provision of legal assessment of the projects of such contracts (contracts). Draft contracts (contracts) are agreed (initial) legal department, with visas of the heads of interested structural subdivisions or persons who replace them
  • organization and carrying out of work aimed at raising the level of University employeeslegal knowledge, explaining the practical application of legislation, providing legal advice
  • organization of management of the claim-legal work of the University
  • ensuring the correct application of the norms of labor, housing, pension and other legislation concerning the rights and legitimate interests of employees of the enterprise, submitting proposals to the rector of the University for the restoration of violated rights
  • providing legal assistance to University employees
